Give it Up

Saturday, April 28, is National Drug Take Back Day. A short public service announcement.

by Joe Goldstein, R.Ph.

A couple of times a year the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), a division of the Department of Justice, sponsors a day when anyone can dispose of unwanted, unused, outdated prescription and non-prescription medicine.  No questions asked!  You can find out where the drop-off centers are, usually police and other law enforcement offices in your community, at http://www.dea.gov.  Get rid of your old drugs, especially old pain relievers.  Be part of the solution.
